Summary: Get Well Patric was originally written as a short film. Soon after the first revision was complete, the decision was made to extend this to a feature length film.
Currently Mat Black and Stephen Moon are working out the script. Eventually we’ll be moving on to either filming it ourselves. Or finding a group to collaborate with.
The Story of the Birthing of Get Well Patric (in 3rd person)
It all started on 2007.09.19 at 10:40pm. Stephen Moon and Mat Black were hanging out. When suddenly…
This movie was the inspiration of Mat Black. Over the course of about 30 minutes (Stephen’s best guess from memory) Mat laid out the basic structure of what happens in this story. We had the story from start to finish. Stephen wrote as Mat spoke, Stephen basically acted as the scribe, but also the translator. Because Mat would say something, and Stephen would convert that to a more “flowy” and articulately worded sentences.
Once the basic structure was laid out, the decision was made to each work on a scene and rewrite the entire story.
Mat was able rewrite one scene (I think it was scene one, but I failed to notate). Basically Mat concluded that his writing was too slow, and that Stephen should do the revisions.
In the end, Stephen was assigned revisions. Stephen didn’t mind at all and Mat was glad because he didn’t have to spend hours and hours in front of the computer, hen-pecking away; yes Mat types with his two index fingers.
