Posted on October 11, 2008

I’ve been cast in a short film called 911 Telemarketer. A project by Bootsinox Productions and Japanic Productions.

I will be playing the part of a redneck, and I’m not sure how much I’m at liberty to reveal – so I wont!

We will be shooting shortly.

Still Alive! Finished up The Old Scam

Posted on October 6, 2008

Given the infrequency of my posts you’d think that I’m either dead or deeply involved in a project. Neither is the case. I did just yesterday finish up the filming for The Old Scam. I had a very minor part as a plain clothes officer.

In the last bit i’ve toned down the amount of auditions i’ve attended. That is why my postings have dwindled. I’m planning on ramping things back up again. So look forward to more awesomeness.

Also I plan to get a Demo Reel done here soon.  Word on the street (in this case my email inbox) is that The Fall and Rise is wrapping up. We’ll be able to see that here in a short while.

Posted on July 31, 2008

I’ve been delaying posting this hoping that a youtube version would be made available. But as of this writing, it has not, so i’m just going to link you right to the site.

The video for the IFP/PHX 48 hour film challenge I was recently involved in has become available. I talked about it here(1), here(2), and here(3).

I will be posting the youtube video as soon as I find it there. But for now you’ll need to go to Catbrain Film Factory‘s website and see the flick. Its pretty funny, I’m pleased with it. See it HERE.

Much love.

I (Might Have) Have Been Cast in Batmans Bad Day!

Posted on June 28, 2008

Recently I was cruisin the Zonie forums looking to see what new projects are out and about. I came across Greenless Pictures “Batmans Bad Day” – A film by Phillip Lybrand.

Its a short film, I think its part of a series (see the below video “Batmans In The Kitchen”). I’ll be driving to Tucson, AZ today to meet Phillip and the rest of the prospective cast. Thus the reason for saying I might have been cast in Batmans Bad Day. Basically, I think as long as Phillip is not disappointed in me, I’ll have the part, but it has not been promised as of yet. Unless of course I’ve completely misread our communications.

With the cost of gas these days (~$4.19) driving to Tucson is something I’d generally only consider for a big project (or maybe its the other way around because that would just cost that much more gas?). But two things have convinced me I want to be part of this project.

Firstly, “Batmans In The Kitchen” portrays a sense of humor I really like.
Secondly, “Batmans In The Kitchen” proves that there will be at least a little production value; something you don’t always have in low budget films.
Thirdly, the script for Batmans Bad Day made me laugh out loud. Really, I did, the humor rocks.

Bam! I’m in.

Here is the (possibly first of a series?) “Batmans In The Kitchen” video…

Update 6/28/2008 @ 8:43pm: Just got back from Tucson, AZ. Phillip and his wife Kelli were really cool. I also met Batman (the guy playing Batman). The whole event was much less epic than I had first supposed it to be. But it was still a good meet.

We discussed various aspects of the film and film-making in general. Then we did a run-through of the script a few times. It was good. I enjoyed it anyway, I read for Superman, Superwoman, Green Lantern, and The Flash. Like I said, I had fun.

Update #2: See the video HERE!

I’ve Been Cast in The Old Scam!

Posted on June 24, 2008

I’ve been cast in the feature film The Old Scam, written by Joe Poniatowski and Adam Farber.

Its a comedy, and I’ll play a small role as Cashier – but i say stuff (apparently) which is a bonus…because people who talk are always more interesting than those that don’t.

You can see my post about the audition HERE.
