Biography
Stephen Moon first became interested in Acting when he was nine years old. After watching Swiss Family Robinson he was thrilled at the prospect of riding a turtle; and concluded that Actors “get to do all the fun stuff”. Nothing emerged of this youthful conclusion.
Many years later (roughly around the age of 19), Stephen Moon again investigated Acting. Selecting several talent agencies, Stephen visited with each to decide which direction he would take. None of this panned out however, Stephen felt that their interests were less film-making oriented, and more give-us-money oriented. He abandoned his pursuits.
Many years later (roughly around the age of 23), following an impulse, Stephen Moon sent a message to Diedre Chatman who was offering a 6 week beginners acting course. During this series of lessons, Stephen was not surprised to find his extremely shy personality was very much in the way of focusing on the acting.
Soon after, personal obligations required Stephen Moons time and attention; Acting was set aside. Not only was it set aside, but it was forgotten.
In February of 2008, Stephen Moon inquired on a Myspace bulletin message for acting classes provided by Jimmy Flowers. Stephen Moon enrolled in the class. This marks (in Stephens mind) the official beginnings of his Acting career.
