Status Update on the Jimmy Flowers Class

Thursday night was awesome. Earlier in the week I’d kinda been bummed out by a conversation I’d had with someone. Then I went to class and it completely corrected that negative state of mind that conversation had thrown me into.
We were supposed to find a variety of scene’s we want to perform for the showcase (which is being held at the end of the class). Along with those scene’s we are also supposed to have a monologue.
Despite how easy it sounds, finding these things are much more difficult than it would seem. I looked for a little while and found myself empty handed. So I decided to just write a scene and see if it would work out. I finished writing and I didn’t feel like it was that great, but being that I had nothing else to work with, I decided to go with it anyway.
Fast-forward to class, and the scene I wrote out was so much better than I expected. I really liked it (as it turns out). I think its one I want to use for the showcase.
Then Amy Bliefnick brought a scene that I was assigned, and I really liked that one too.
I’m looking forward to next week. It’ll be fun to dismantel each of these scene’s and add flavor to the characters.
Cant say the same for my monologue, i’m not too sure about that. I still haven’t found “the one” I really like.
Unexpected Delay for The Between

The timetable for The Between has been unexpectedly adjusted. This change is a necessary adjustment in order to allow the project to move forward. Weird sounding, but there are other details surrounding the issue. None of them bad in my opinion, but i don’t know what I can and cannot say – so I’ll say less.
